    Add a custom MCP

    In Devin, open Customize, then MCPs, then Add MCP, and choose Add custom MCP. Name it Zaprep.

    Point it at Zaprep

    Choose HTTP as the transport, paste the Zaprep MCP URL and pick OAuth. Save, then click Connect and approve access in Zaprep.

    Run the commands below. devin mcp login opens your browser so you can approve access.

    Check it

    Click Test tools to see the Zaprep tools, then ask Devin about your automations in a session.

If something goes wrong in Devin

Test tools lists nothing
Check the URL and that you clicked Connect and approved access. With Auth Header, the value must be Bearer followed by your zap_ key.
Teammates cannot use Zaprep
Set Access to organization when you add the connection. A personal connection is only available to the person who connected it.

Limits

What Devin cannot do in Zaprep

  • Send DMs or comment replies outside your automations. The AI sets up rules; Zaprep sends through Meta’s official APIs.
  • Turn on a new automation it created unless you, or the AI after you confirm, switch it on.
  • Touch billing, payments or your plan.

Either. Pick OAuth when you add the custom MCP, or choose Auth Header and paste Bearer zap_... as the value. Create the key in Zaprep under Settings, then API keys. The Access setting decides whether the connection is shared with your Devin organization or kept personal.

Yes. MCP access is included on every Zaprep plan, Free included. Your plan’s usual limits on automations and DMs still apply.

New automations an AI creates are saved paused, so nothing sends until you or the AI turns it on after you confirm. Edits to an automation that is already on apply right away, and most AI apps ask before running a change. You can disconnect any AI app in Zaprep under Settings, then AI tools.
