Media kit template

Free Instagram Media Kit Template & Examples for Creators

Everything a brand looks for in a creator media kit, a copy-and-paste template you can fill in today, example layouts for different niches, and a way to turn it into a live page that keeps your numbers current.

What is a media kit?

A media kit is a one-page summary a creator sends to brands to pitch a paid partnership. It shows who you are, who your audience is, how well your content performs, what you charge, and who you have worked with before. A good influencer media kit answers a brand's first questions before they ask, so the conversation can start with dates and deliverables instead of screenshots.

What to include

What to put in an influencer media kit

Short bio and niche

Two or three sentences on who you are, what you post, and who it's for. Add your handle, location, and a photo.

Follower count

Your current follower count per platform. Brands check it against your profile, so keep it current.

Engagement rate

How actively your audience reacts. Use the formula below and say how many posts you averaged.

Average views and likes

Typical reach of a post or reel, averaged over your recent content rather than your best post.

Audience demographics

Age ranges, gender split, and top countries or cities, copied from your Instagram insights.

Rate card

Prices or starting prices per deliverable: feed post, reel, story set, UGC video, usage rights, bundles.

Past collaborations

Brands you have worked with, what you made, and a link to the result where you can share it.

Contact details

One clear way to reach you: email, DM, or a booking link. Say how fast you usually reply.

How to calculate engagement rate

Engagement rate = average interactions per post ÷ followers × 100

Add up the likes, comments, saves and shares on your recent posts, divide by the number of posts to get average interactions, then divide by your follower count and multiply by 100. Use the same set of posts every time you update, for example your 10 most recent, so the number is comparable.

Example with made-up numbers: 10 posts with 4,000 interactions in total = 400 average interactions. 400 ÷ 20,000 followers × 100 = 2% engagement rate.

Format

PDF media kit vs a live media kit link

PDF or Canva-style file

  • Full control over the design
  • Easy to attach to an email
  • Numbers go stale the day after you export it
  • Every update means a new file and a new send

Live media kit page

  • One link for your bio, emails and DMs
  • Follower count and avatar can update on their own
  • Works on any phone without downloading
  • Less design freedom than a blank canvas

Many creators keep both: a live link for first contact and a PDF export when a brand's team asks for an attachment.

Zaprep media kit

A live media kit page instead of a Canva PDF

Zaprep's media kit is a public page at zaprep.com/m/your-name, built from your connected Instagram account.

Live follower count and profile

Your follower count, profile photo and bio are read from your connected Instagram account each time the page loads.

Engagement from your recent posts

Engagement rate, average views and average likes are calculated from your 10 most recent posts. You can override any of them by hand.

Audience demographics you control

Enter age ranges, gender split and top locations from your Instagram insights. They show as simple charts.

Rate card and past collabs

List your deliverables and prices, add brand partners with logos and links, and show a grid of recent posts.

A contact button

Brands tap one button to message you on Instagram. No email address is published on the page.

Publish when ready

Your media kit stays private until you switch it on, and you choose the link.

The media kit is included on the Solo ($5.99/mo) and Growth ($14.99/mo) plans. It is not part of the Free plan.

FAQ

Media kit questions

What should a media kit include?

A short bio, follower count, engagement rate, average views or likes, audience demographics, a rate card, past collaborations and one clear way to contact you.

How do I calculate my engagement rate for a media kit?

Divide your average interactions per post (likes, comments, saves and shares) by your follower count and multiply by 100. Say how many posts you averaged, for example your last 10.

Do I need a media kit with a small following?

It helps. Brands working with micro-creators still want to see your audience, engagement and rates in one place, and a clear kit makes a small account look organised.

Should I put prices in my media kit?

Many creators list starting prices so brands can self-qualify, then send a custom quote. If you prefer to negotiate, list deliverables and say rates are available on request.

Is a Canva media kit template better than a live media kit?

A design-tool PDF gives you more layout freedom but goes out of date as soon as you export it. A live media kit page keeps follower numbers current and is one link to share. Many creators use both.

Is Zaprep's media kit free?

The template on this page is free. Zaprep's live media kit page is included on the Solo plan ($5.99/mo) and the Growth plan ($14.99/mo); it isn't part of the Free plan.

Where does Zaprep get my audience demographics?

You enter them yourself from your Instagram insights. Zaprep reads your follower count, profile photo, bio and recent posts from the connected account, but demographics are typed in by you.

Send brands a link, not a stale PDF

Connect Instagram, fill in your rates and demographics, and publish your media kit on Solo or Growth.
